General Topology and Abstract Analysis at YSU

In my brief presentation I will outline some of the contributions of YSU mathematicians in the areas of General Topology and Abstract Analysis in last two decades.

In particular, I will present our results in the following areas:

(i) Separately continuous functions,

(ii) Banach Category Theorem,

(iii) Closed Graph Theorem,

(iv) Relative properties

(v) Volterra spaces,

(vi) Baire Category Theorem,

(vii) Planar approximable functions,

(viii) Topological Dynamics,

(ix) Plastic spaces,

(x) Function spaces, and

(xi) Thin subsets of product spaces.
